Our support team assists with Polaris-related issues only. For in-game problems, please contact the respective game developers.
Creating a Team: To establish a new team, execute the /create_team command and carefully follow the step-by-step instructions provided. Please note that team names must be unique within our system. If your desired team name is already in use, you will be prompted to select an alternative. For comprehensive team management guidance, please consult the 'Edit your Team' section below.
Joining an Existing Team: Team membership is invitation-based and must be initiated by a team captain. The captain can extend an invitation by either accessing your player profile through the /profile command and selecting the 'Send Invite' option, or by directly using the /invite_player command with your player details. Upon receiving an invitation, you can accept it by navigating to your profile via the /profile command and selecting the appropriate option from the invitation menu.
Leaving a Team: To depart from your current team, use the /myteam command and select the 'Leave Team' option. Please be aware that team leaders have additional responsibilities and cannot simply leave their teams. Team leaders must either transfer ownership to another active team member or formally disband the team before departing.
To modify your player profile information, execute the /profile command, which provides access to several essential account management functions and settings.
Game ID Management: You can update your in-game identifier through the profile interface. Please note that Game ID changes are subject to a four-month restriction period to maintain system integrity. If you require a Game ID modification before this period expires, please submit a support ticket to Polaris Support for manual review and assistance.
Team Invitation Management: Your profile interface displays all pending team invitations, allowing you to review details and accept membership offers directly. This centralized system ensures you never miss important team opportunities and can make informed decisions about team participation.
Device ID Registration: The profile system allows you to register your unique device identifier, which permanently links your gaming device to your tournament account. Please exercise caution when setting your Device ID, as this is a one-time configuration that cannot be modified through standard means. Should you need to update your Device ID due to device replacement or technical issues, contact Polaris Support with appropriate documentation for assistance.
Device ID Verification: You can view your currently registered Device ID at any time through your profile to verify proper account linkage and ensure tournament eligibility compliance.
Team management functions are exclusively available to team leaders and captains through the /myteam command. This comprehensive interface provides access to all essential team administration tools and settings.
Team Identity Management: Leaders can modify certain team information through various methods. Team tag changes can be managed directly through the team interface. However, team name modifications require contacting Polaris Support due to system restrictions and verification requirements. To update your team logo, use the /addlogo command and follow the provided instructions to upload your new team imagery, ensuring it meets community guidelines and tournament standards.
Player Management: The team management system allows leaders to remove underperforming or inactive players from the roster using the kick function. All player removals should be conducted professionally and in accordance with any team agreements or contracts previously established.
Tournament Roster Administration: Leaders can configure and manage tournament-specific rosters, ensuring optimal player selection for different competitive events. This feature allows strategic flexibility while maintaining compliance with tournament registration requirements and player eligibility standards.
Leadership Transfer: Team ownership can be transferred to another active team member when necessary due to leadership changes or organizational restructuring. This process ensures continuity of team operations and maintains administrative access for ongoing tournament participation.
Team Dissolution: Should circumstances require team termination, leaders can formally disband the organization through the management interface. This action permanently removes the team from the system and releases all associated players. Please note that team disbandment is irreversible and should be considered carefully before execution.
Tournament participation requires completion of several prerequisite steps to ensure eligibility and proper registration within the competitive framework.
Registration Verification: Before attempting tournament entry, confirm that you have completed the initial registration process using the /register command. Your unique Player ID must be active and properly linked to your Discord account to participate in any competitive events.
Team Membership Requirement: Tournament participation is exclusively team-based. You must either create a new team using the /create_team command or join an existing team through the invitation system. Individual player entries are not permitted in Polaris Tournament events.
Tournament Application Process: Team captains and leaders are responsible for tournament registration and must use the /apply command to initiate the application process. This command will present available tournaments for selection, allowing you to choose the appropriate competitive event for your team's participation.
Roster Selection: During the application process, team captains must carefully select which team members will participate in the specific tournament. This roster selection determines player eligibility for the event and cannot be modified once the application is submitted. Ensure all selected players are active, available, and meet tournament-specific requirements before finalizing your roster submission.
Application Confirmation: Once you have selected your tournament and finalized your participating roster, review all information thoroughly before submitting your application. Successful registration will provide confirmation and additional tournament details including schedules, rules, and communication channels.
