"Where Champions Rise"

Obsidian 2026

Critical Ops Obsidian 2026 is where ambition meets competition in one of the most intense Critical Ops tournaments of the year. Obsidian is a three-stage tournament designed to reward consistency in league play and clutch performance in playoffs.

Each stage has a handcrafted format to promote competitive integrity. Stage 1 begins with Open Qualifiers where teams compete until only the Top 8 remain and advance. Stage 2 features an 8-team BO2 league, where each team plays every other team to determine the Top 4 who advance to the Playoffs.

Carryover Requirement: Between each Obsidian, you must keep 5 players from the previous Obsidian and use the same team name to add points on the cumulative leaderboard.

Roster changes

  • You effectively have 2 roster changes available between Obsidians.
  • The first roster change is free.
  • The second roster change costs 1 point from your team’s overall points.
  • A third roster change removes all points gained from the prior obsidian.

Odyssey roster requirements (to keep points)

Odyssey requires your lineup to meet these thresholds to retain the relevant Obsidian points:

  • 3/7 from Obsidian 1
  • 4/7 from Obsidian 2
  • 5/7 from Obsidian 3

If your lineup doesn’t meet one of the above requirements, you lose that tournament’s points. (If you didn’t play one of the Obsidians, that requirement doesn’t apply.)

Points awarded per Obsidian based on final tournament placement.
